We live in darkness.
We live in fear.
We live in seclusion.
We live in a cage.

Our eyes wrinkle at the sight of light.
At the thought of brightness.
The very first ray.

Absorbing the free wind.
Our legs restrain themselves, in apprehension.
At the thought of taking a step.
Taking a step forward.

Impatient, the beating heart breaks out of the cage and jumps out and sings a melody in a passionate glee…

And it hops away into wanderlust.
Only to make us live.
